Senior Business Controller

Functie

You will be part of the Controlling team. The team consists of three senior business controllers, headed by the Director Finance & Control. The Controlling team is considered a strategic business partner by applying advanced analyses and a forward-looking way of working. You will help to ‘finance change to change finance’, by managing financial information and all associated analyses and internal reports.

• You will maintain a network of internal stakeholders to further enhance our role as strategic business partner;
• You will create and improve analysis models for presentations and reports;
• You will gather, analyze and monitor information for the three-year planning, annual budgets and rolling forecasts for Triodos Investment Management as well for our offered funds;
• You will improve and support business cases by challenging assumptions which are translated into advice (both solicited and unsolicited);
• You will support the team in creating and implementing (key) performance indicators to provide steering information for senior and fund management.

Profiel

• Extensive work experience in a similar role, preferably from banking industry or financial institution;
• A strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and rulings;
• Highly developed analytic, financial modelling and reporting skills;
• A thrive on critical inquiry, detailed analysis, and the pursuis excellence;
• Excellent command of MS Office Excel, preferably proficient in MS Power Query;
• Knowledge of Exact (Globe) and Tagetik is not required but considered an advantage;
• Good command of English (preferably also Dutch), both written and oral;
• Outstanding communication and social skills, enabling you to effectively connect and collaborate within diverse teams and senior management.
