Assignment
As Senior Consolidation & Reporting Manager you will be responsible for the consolidation of the financial results and ensure accurate and timely reporting. You are hands-on and in close contact with the organisations subsidiaries in different countries and play a crucial role in providing relevant and timely financial information for decision making.
You will also lead the implementation of their new consolidation tool, and ensure compliance with company guidelines and IFRS reporting requirements.
You will work from our international office in Amsterdam and occasionally travel. In this role you will report to the Group Finance Director and be part of the Group Control team. Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for analyzing financial results and providing financial insights. You will also assist in preparing budgets and forecasts, and for developing and implementing improvements in the reporting process.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial consolidation process;
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports;
- Implement, roll out and manage their new consolidation tool (currently Excel);
- Implement sub-consolidations on country level together with local finance directors;
- Support and guide internal and external audit processes;
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and IFRS standards;
- Support Group Control team with ad-hoc questions and reporting matters, like acquisitions, impairment testing and IFRS 16;
- Standardize and structure reporting throughout the organisation.
Profile
- At least 8-10 years of work experience in a similar role or at an international accounting firm. In-depth knowledge and experience in consolidation is a must;
- CPA qualification (RA or equivalent) is a plus;
- You are hands-on and willing to dive into the details;
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS in an international context;
- Experience with ERP systems and consolidation software;
- Also mastery of Excel and other reporting tools;
- Fluent in English;
- Proactive attitude and excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
